Lapsang Souchong
Loose Tea

I've been in the tea doldrums today. I've been looking for a tea that really hit the spot.

  • Darjeeling - no, not today.

  • Ti Kwan Yin - Somehow I always get interrupted. I must have displeased the iron goddess.

  • Assam - Umm, its ok.

  • Lapsang Souchong - Oh yeah, baby! Am I back in Scotland? Am I at my friend's old townhouse in Pensacola? It doesn't matter. I'm in a metaphorical river of Lapsang Souchong.

Oh, its always good when tea touches the soul.

Ti Kuan Yin
loose tea

Maitri posted about ti kuan yin or "The Iron Goddess of Mercy" in his . That reminded me that I really like ti kuan yin.

I made a small pot of it. I drank it while playing my PSP and helping Meghan with the baby. There was so much going on that I didn't notice the taste. So much for taking time to experience the tea.

I should only believe in a God that would know how to dance.

Stash Fusion Red and White
White Tea and Rooibos mixed
Unsweetened

This tea continues to grow on me. I think I would like to try making my own mix of red tea with black, green or white tea. I like the natural sweetness of the red tea and the small caffeine kick of tea.
